A new heatless habanero with irresistible tropical flavor bred by Dr. Michael Mazourek of Cornell University. Excellent seared, braised, roasted or eaten raw, Habanada is a culinary jewel! Extremely productive. Best flavor when allowed to ripen to orange. Holds quality for a long time on the plant.

These have such a wonderful flavor and aroma. My favorite way to eat them is fresh, just biting into the pepper. Great addition to salads, and with its sweet taste, maybe even a fruit salad? I’ll have to give it a try. The plants are fairly small, but always loaded with fruit when we grow them here in Wisconsin.
