Stunning heirloom that traces back to Horace Pippin (1888-1946), an African-American folk artist.  Extremely ornamental plants.  Fruits ripen from violet to orange to deep-red.  Ripe fruits are tapered and around 6″ long.  Great in the garden or in pots.  Heat level similar to a cayenne pepper.  Great for fresh use or drying.  75 days from transplant.
