Peron

Price range: $4.50 through $117.50

A real globe trotter. Originally developed by Professor Abelardo Piovano at the National University of Argentina. A heavy producer slightly flattened 8 oz. fruits. Delicious flavor, higher in Vitamin C than most tomatoes. Widely adaptable strain – from the tropics to Alaska. Gained the name ‘Sprayless’ by thriving where other varieties must be sprayed against insects. Peron has gained a reputation as one of the easiest to grow red slicing and processing tomatoes over the past 40 years. Semi-determinate, 65-70 days.
