One of the oldest named varieties of tomatoes still in existence.  Named after King Umberto (1844-1900) of Italy.  Listed by the French seedhouse Vilmorin-Andrieux in 1885.  Plants are completely loaded with pink 2 oz. baby pear shaped tomatoes.  The fruits are meaty and full flavored. One plant can easily produce 250 fruits.   A really unique variety rescued from near extinction.  Indeterminate, 80 days from transplant.
