One of the original two Bavarian varieties that started the Seed Savers Exchange and ignited the heirloom seed movement. Great family heirloom, plants produce large 1-2 pound meaty fruits with few seeds. Full sweet flavor and tender skin. Extremely versatile, excellent for canning and freezing but also slicing and juicing. Indeterminate plants, 85-90 days from transplant.
