Gelber Englischer

Compact bushy plants produce large crops of lemon-yellow patty pan fruits.  If left on the vine past the edible summer squash stage, they turn dark orange.  Uniquely shaped, we call them muffin top fruits because they look like a muffin that has spilled over the top of the pan.  Does well in cooler climates.  Originally from the Gatersleben seed bank in Germany.  60 days.
