Cinderella (aka Rouge d’Etampes)

Price range: $3.50 through $431.25

Striking French heirloom introduced to American gardeners in 1883 by W. Atlee Burpee. A standard for home gardeners and roadside stands for over a century. Flattened, 25-35 pound, ribbed fruits remind us of huge wheels of cheese. Most commonly used for lasting Autumn decorations, but can also be used for pies, pumpkin bread or canning.
