Introduced in the 1920s and easily the most well-known bell pepper in the world. This classic heirloom grows well almost anywhere and produces abundant crops of blocky 3-4 lobed fruits that measure 3” across and 4” deep and are tender and flavorful. Excellent as green bell peppers, or for fuller sweeter flavor, let ripen to red. Can be used green around 50 days and red around 70 days from transplant.
