Originally from Siberia and brought to Canada by Russian traders around 1885. Frilly tender leavers, excellent flavor. Very frost tolerant, some claim it can resist freezing up to 0 degrees F, making it possible to have fresh kale until Christmas in the Upper Midwest. 50-65 days from transplant.
