Discovered by Henry Fields in an Ozark garden in the 1930’s. Henry Fields (1871-1949) was a pioneer seedsman from Shenandoah, Iowa. His company slogan for years was “Seeds That Yield, Are Sold by Field.” Vigorous plants grow 6’ tall and are loaded with 5-7” straight purple pods that blanch to light green. Highest quality.
