This variety was selected out of the variety Extra Early in 1893 by Kenney. It was stabilized and introduced around 1900, and distributed by several seedsmen. It was considered “the best strain of Extra Early ever offered.” Very uniform, dwarf plants grow 24” tall and require minimal support. Rare.
