Beit Alpha cucumber has become a popular variety because it is easy to grow, has a high yield, few seeds, spineless and burpless. Harvesting at 4-5 inches keeps the skin very tender making peeling unnecessary. It was developed in Israel and is a parthenocarpic variety making it greenhouse growing friendly.
